Professor LIU Hai, Head of COM, along with Dr. Carlin CHU, Dr. Lu YU, Associate Programme Directors of MSc-DSAI, and several module instructors and administrative staff shared information about university facilities, an overview of module contents, competitions, students activities, and seminars participated by previous students. This session helped the newcomers better understand the university and the programme. They encouraged students to actively engage with teachers and to seize every opportunity provided by the department, school, and university, striving for excellence together.

We also thank our alumnus Mr. CHENG Jian for sharing insights with freshmen, providing them with some new ideas and perspectives on learning and career development.

During the event, we prepared self-introduction sessions and ice-breaking games to help students better adapt into the new environment. Teams that actively participated and won were awarded with prizes.
