Dr. Aileen HOU and Dr. Tan LI from the Department of Computer Science led students on a visit to Hong Kong Telecom (HKT) Limited to explore global trends in information technology and the latest developments in Hong Kong’s telecom industry.

During the sharing session, HKT presented students with the hot topics in information technology that are currently attracting global attention, such as 5G networks, blockchain, Web3, smart city, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR). After the sharing, students visited HKT’s Network Operations Centre to experience real industry operations and learn about HKT’s innovative technology applications.
