MSc-DSAI Orientation Day 2026/27
An orientation event was organised for students joining the Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MSc-DSAI) programme in the 2026/27 academic year. The event provided an overview of the programme structure, study arrangements, campus resources, and university life, helping students prepare for their upcoming study.

On the event day, Professor CHAN Wai Sum, Dean of the School of Decision Sciences; Professor LIU Hai, Head of the Department of Computer Science; Professor HOU, Programme Director; and other teaching faculty extended a warm welcome and words of encouragement to the new students.

During the event, the MSc-DSAI Outstanding Entrance Award was presented to recognise students with outstanding admission performance.

The programme team then introduced the curriculum arrangements, campus facilities and important points to note. These sessions helped students develop a comprehensive understanding of academic arrangements and campus life.

Outstanding alumni were also invited to share their learning experiences and personal reflections from the programme. Their sharing offered valuable insights to the new students and helped them better understand postgraduate study life and directions for career.

The Orientation Day also featured a Q&A session, self-introduction activities, ice-breaking games and group interactions. The atmosphere was warm and lively. New students met faculty members, alumni and fellow classmates in a relaxed and enjoyable setting, establishing their first connections within the MSc-DSAI community.
